'Being' as part of Immerse- Elmhurst Ballet Company

Elmhurst Ballet Company presents its London premiere of Immerse.

In Immerse, Elmhurst Ballet Company (EBC), performs excerpts from Atomos, created by Wayne McGregor for Company Wayne McGregor in 2013. Also part of the programme is Four Scottish Dances by David Bintley, created for the 1979 Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet tour to Israel, Elite Syncopations by Kenneth MacMillan, created for the Royal Ballet in 1974, Being by Peter Leung, a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on choreography, stage direction and photography, Peaky Pachuco! a new jazz dance piece by Zak Nemorin the co-creator of Uprooted, the award-winning cinematic exploration and celebration of jazz dance, and Majisimo by George Garcia.

Elmhurst Ballet Company is the student company for Elmhurst Ballet School, in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet. The Company bridges the gap between school and professional life, equipping students with the necessary skills and attributes to secure employment with world class dance companies. Their Company experience provides an opportunity for them to produce their own work, tour and take ballet out into the community.
