PULSE

Exploring the Intersection of AI and Dance

Pulse is an innovative research project that bridges the worlds of dance and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This experiment dives into the dynamic relationship between human movement and technology, pushing the boundaries of creative expression in performance.

At its heart, Pulse explores how AI can interact with and respond to dance, creating an evolving dialogue between the dancer and the machine. Through this exploration, the project reimagines what collaboration between human creativity and artificial intelligence can achieve.

The Team Behind Pulse:

Project Partner: &samhoud

Choreography + Stage Direction: Peter Leung

Dance and Collaboration: Zoe Greten

What Makes Pulse Unique:

Interactive Innovation - The project showcases how AI can respond to and enhance the artistic movements of a human performer, creating an entirely new form of collaboration.

Visual design meets movement - The AI not only interprets dance but also transforms it into a visual spectacle, merging digital design with physical performance.

The Vision:

Pulse invites audiences to imagine a future where technology and artistry coexist harmoniously. It challenges perceptions of both dance and AI, offering a glimpse into how the two disciplines can inspire and transform each other. At its core, the project is about connection – between the human and the machine, the audience and the performer, and the possible and the imagined.
